'KILLER CHIPMUNKS'
An illustration in response to the brief 'Mishaps Happening' for a limited edition screen printed book by COMEALONGFOOL.
A few months ago I read an article in the Metro called 'Killer Chipmunks To Hit Britain By Summer', the article went on to warn readers of an expected influx of rabid chipmunks making their way across the channel from Parisian parks after tourists were smuggling them home as pets. The outlandish claims of genuine threat to the country as a whole fuelled by journalistic indulgence seemed like the perfect opportunity for a little Hammer Horror pastiche. A genre which lends itself beautifully to the screen printed look and feel.
