Whilst entertaining various ideas about ‘anti-play’, the antithesis of the conventional play we are encouraged to participate in as children, ‘Gun Club (Pow Pow!)’ was born. The conflicting messages contained within it’s carefully constructed aesthetic and it’s function as a colouring book, were inspired by fledgling ideas of subverting the primary function of children’s toys whilst maintaining their innocent facade.
